I remember going to a few of my older brother and sister game's. I only went because of them

Yep, I drifted away from sports a couple of years ago. It keeps my cortisol levels low.

Me too im just not into sports

I have. Once. Persuaded by a class-mate who was a football fan to go with him to watch our local team, at an away fixture too.

Ah... Twice actually. I recall the game ended in a draw and he dragged me along with him to watch the replay, this time of course locally.

We were both fourteen at the time.

I have not been to a football match since.

Me neither, certainly not for the last 63 years anyway.

I avoid ALL "professional" sports purposely.

I stress professional because I once was the schools photographer. I had to go to the games.

I have yet to go to ANY professional game.

Yeah I just don't get excited by a bunch of overpaid adult men running around dribbling in their shorts.

@ArishMell It is kind of like hockey here in Canada. It seems like the season finals and the open game of the following year are a day apart. I don't follow sports but one can't help but notice in the heat of June they are still playing ice hockey.

@hippyjoe1955 The more money there is to be made from it the further it drifts from its origins.

@ArishMell The whole idea of bringing in ringers takes away from native talent. I loved the home town team made up of local boys playing the next town over.
