But since I am retired with a very nice income and healthy savings I don't fret over whether I have enough or not. Its nothing I would ever lose any sleep over.

Also, I was wondering if the OP had a $$$ figure in mind because I wanted to see if my situation fit within his threshhold.

It would appear that you already know the answer to his question but you didn't answer him like you did already know.

@swirlie Does a yone know if they really have enough? The greatest fear of aging seniors is outliving their money. With my standard of living, should I need an assisted living facility later in life, I would expect 12-15K per month. Save for inflation and that will wipe out life savings fairly quickly should you live a longer than normal life.
