Men's moral to lift heavier I guess hahaha

Heartlander · 80-89, M
Fifty+ years ago when I weighed 145 pounds I could press 175, clean 225, but was afraid to jerk or snatch those weights overhead.

I was a squatter rather than a splitter. A good squatter to slip below the weights with my tailbone practically on the floor, and was blessed with strong legs. Squatting preserved my arm strength to then complete the overhead press. My wrist were weak, and while I was OK with pressing it overhead, jerking higher weights came with a fear of my wrist failing..

I can do about 50 pounds with my arms and 100 pounds with my legs on a good day ...lol

I am more into cardiovascular exercises and yoga :)
