Extremely but I’ve now learnt to compartmentalise pieces of my past as I can’t remove it so I make a choice to accept it happened and I can’t change that but I can refuse to let it influence my happiness in the future. It’s done.

I fail miserably at this

@TakeCare87 awe I know some find it hard and it took me a long time to acknowledge I don’t want to spend my life being sad or miserable and constantly thinking about the past. Happiness and the joy of appreciating what around me fills me with hope and in general makes me feel better. Yes I have down days but I have my ways of kicking them out the door quickly and not dwelling.
