The building doesn’t matter. Christians are the Church. Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I’m in the midst of them.”
@Colonelmustardseed so what? Religion doesn’t matter! Fairy tales for grownups should have no impact on people’s lives.

Imagine being ruled by the tooth fairy!
@Adeptlinguist I could tell you how my life has been impacted, but it doesn’t matter to you. You’ve already decided in your heart that any good that following Jesus Christ has ever done for anyone doesn’t count.
@Colonelmustardseed delusions can be powerful but should not impact society.
@Colonelmustardseed Do you deny the tooth fairy? She has brought riches to millions.
@Adeptlinguist Christians overall do a lot to help people. We’re called to. That impacts society in positive ways.
@Adeptlinguist I understand that it angers you that anyone would believe. But arguing with and belittling me isn’t going to make me stop believing in Jesus Christ.
@Colonelmustardseed So do you deny the tooth fairy? Yes or no?
@Adeptlinguist Why? Because you have an argument prepared? But there’s no denying what I said that Christians positively contribute to and impact society when helping those in need.
@Colonelmustardseed It angers me that people don’t keep their delusions to themselves. I would be embarrassed at a minimum to say I believed in that nonsense. But what is worse is that people impose their delusions on others, often through laws.
@Colonelmustardseed You refuse to answer?
@Colonelmustardseed Religion contributes nothing to society. Human kindness and compassion do not need sky fairies. Or are you saying they do?
@Adeptlinguist There is no keeping it to ourselves. When something good has happened in your life, you can’t help but share.
And I don’t argue with people, especially when that’s clear that’s all they want to do.

@Adeptlinguist I’m going to continue to talk about the Lord. And when someone has a question about Him or Christians or church buildings, I’m going to answer when I know the answer. I’m sorry that you feel threatened by that. But it’s not harming you at all. In fact, most people who don’t believe in God don’t intentionally seek out people who talk about Him to insist that we don’t have a right to exist or speak about our beliefs. You saw this question, and decided that. You saw my response and sought me out; not the other way around. No one did anything to you.
@Colonelmustardseed I don’t feel threatened at all. This “Lord” is a fiction, a delusion. Those who propagandise this nonsense are not doing good.
