@hunkalove You need to contact the city, it's a federal law that makes it illegal to evict in retaliation to no heat and/or water complaints.

@NativePortlander1970 Hopefully it was just fixed. I don't think there are federal laws about that. It's local and tenants have no rights here. Greed is all that matters.

@hunkalove I remember a discussion on twitter about it a few years ago, someone in New York City was going through the same thing, and a reporter from Wyoming spoke up and said there was a federal law and sourced it.

@NativePortlander1970 When I moved here in 1977 there was bill in the state legislature for tenants' rights. It failed miserably. I don't think anything has changed since.
