Generally speaking, i’d say they’ve been successful. I don’t think it’s realistic to expect so many countries with varied cultures and interests to play nice-nice and always be on the same page. They’re doing all right.

@WhateverWorks is it realistic to expect it to be unbiased, particularly when majority of their fundings is derived from a specific country?

@Unlearn i’d say that’s pretty unrealistic, yeah. What’s important is that people point out when they are being biased, which increases eyes on the issue and accountability, which leads to at least some effort to do better about the biases, they may be inclined to consider
