Millennials and Gen Xers got to live life during an era without the internet... as a Gen Z guy im kinda envious of them since the internet has changed the world drastically in the last 20 or so years
@TheMasterMan1 I’m a millennial. I don’t remember the world without the internet lol

@MorbidCynic 1995-2004 would like to have a word with u... almost nobody had a computer until like 2001-2006
@TheMasterMan1 I didn’t start developing memories until 2001/2002. I was born in 1996, making me a millennial.

@TheMasterMan1 I had a computer and the internet in 1995 and up so that’s not true
TheMasterMan1 · 22-25, M
@iamonfire696 I'm talking about primarily the majority of Americans. Look up the statistics and come back
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@TheMasterMan1 okay where I lived in Canada people had computers and the internet
TheMasterMan1 · 22-25, M
@iamonfire696 So did some americans? But all I'm saying is not many ppl used the internet back then or rely on it like they do now.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@TheMasterMan1 Of course, the internet has changed since then but you said almost no one had computers and that isn’t true. 50% of households had them in the late 90’s.
TheMasterMan1 · 22-25, M
@iamonfire696 And it only rose to 51% in 2000. Barely anyone was using the internet for social purposes back in those days like we do today. Hell it wasn't until 2009 that number rose to 77 percent. The point I was trying to make is that most low-income households didn't have a computer during the 90s or early 2000s. And those who did have one used it for completely different reasons than we use it today. Remember forum boards?
