Or have your opinions only influenced by your local environment , which I think can be much worse depending on where you’re from. I think growing up online gave me exposure to so many subjects/ideas/philosophies I wouldn’t have ever come across organically. I’m thankful for those influences.

@666Maggotz Best comment. I agree ,I grew up in this small place in no where and the majority of the girls had an eating disorder and were underweight. The mentality there was messed up and since you're isolated from other areas ,you're main influence is those around you and if they have sick self images you're likely to get one too. Same if they are bullying someone. With the internet you can realize that you're not alone and get support and talk to people who help you see that you matter too.
