I am buying my niece one for her birthday. There are all kinds of people in this world and there are all kinds of Barbies in many different shades. My niece has dolls with wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other accessories. She has dolls that represent different occupations and nationalities. Soon she will have the doll with down syndrome. I would love to see Barbie Dolls that represent every conceivable difference she may see in other children. Give me a doll with coke bottle lemse glasses., maybe a little overweight and/ot wearing leg braces or having some other deformity. Give me an introduction that explains how this deformity or hereditary thing happens and I will work it into our play time. I am not certain what her little mind thinks but I know we have a lot of fun together playing with those dolls, and kids nowadays need innocence and less adult bullcrap pushed down their throats.
