no....it's often about finding yourself while the relationship holds steady. What I've often seen however, is that when there is separation, the male feels the relationship is suspended, while the female feels it's drifting away...as she moves on....

By the contexts in which are heard, it seems so.
Can´t make a better distinction cos both expressions belong or are at least associated with the several "branches" of a philosophic "wave" whose assumptions a don´t share and whose goals (if taken as main / top values) I don´t find desirables.

I don't know yet. I'd like to think so but I don't believe it's true. Rather.. it's about accepting and trying to see beyond the moment.
