Is it normal for a husband to do this?

Is it normal for a husband to still be friends with a woman who told him she is in love with him? He still remains friends with her. No they are not cheating with each other. But is it normal for him to remain friends with her and go out together? He has told his wife she is in love with him but he still remains friends with her. Is this normal?

I have been friends with a guy who I have known since I was 14 and who was in love with me for many years and even to this day when we talk , he still says he will always love me. I never felt love for him but just care for him as a real good friend. I think that has made it possible for us to be friends for so many years and that my guy doesn't feel jealous or threatened by it because he knows I never loved the guy in any romantic way.

So it may not be normal or common, but it happens in real life 🙂
