Is it normal for a husband to do this?

Is it normal for a husband to still be friends with a woman who told him she is in love with him? He still remains friends with her. No they are not cheating with each other. But is it normal for him to remain friends with her and go out together? He has told his wife she is in love with him but he still remains friends with her. Is this normal?

I guess it depends on how his wife feels about his contact with her. If she trusts him, then our personal moral opinions don't really matter. It's their relationship. And if this other lady can control her emotional response to the man, then I'm sure all these consenting adults can get along. Personally, I'm not sure why a woman would want to torture herself by remaining in a platonic friendship with a man she's actually in love with. The psychological strain must be immense.
