@gorgeousgirl When you understand it well that it's a racism system to discriminate people, so why you are falling in that trap by accepting that by yourself.

I give you a similar example that Britishers used in India when they colonized India. In order to divide people in India they created caste among Indians derived from old Indian Varna system(which was different system based on work someone performs in society). They further divided Indians into North Indians and South Indians.

Now when Indians are understanding that they have fallen trap by calling themselves as North Indian and South Indian. Now they are started to call themselves as "Indian from South" instead of calling themselves South Indian.

Similarly you should be proud to call yourself "A girl with dark color" instead of accepting yourself as "Black girl".

When youngsters like you start to not accept the racism by not calling themselves White or Black, then only this racism will end one day.

@ABCDEF7 i am both a “girl with dark color” and a black girl. though, because calling yourself a “girl with a dark color” isn’t normal/used often to say in the US, i stick with calling myself a black girl because again, that is what people see me as, and what i see myself as.

@Rainandforest tbh, i’ve always wanted to be an actress. since i was a child. it always fascinated me with how actors/actresses can capture the audiences’ emotions and sort of control them, like a puppet lol. also, my mom laughed at me when i told her i wanted a different occupation, so she told me to choose something else 👍🏿
