@riseofthemachine Not in my book. Humans are social beings. And yes, it IS desire. Naturally. It has nothing to do with a fear of being alone and in pain. It has to do with celebrating and sharing Spirit. THAT'S food for the soul. It's vital to health, happiness and longevity. I connect with people, not books.

Where's the connection in that ?

My experience was i ended up bitter and sick from most of them , not all , but some .
Thats why i ened up on my own .
Relationships break ups .
Conflict with people ,
Pysche wards .
Im too old for that shit in my life and being honest i don't deserve that shit in my life .
Oh ya i had 3 suicidal attempts ,very serious ones .
I got through it all through God , spiritual books , meditation.
Thats why im on my own .

@riseofthemachine I get through all of my trials through God, as well. Meditation and spiritual books are great. I do all of that, too. And my connections with people facilitate my getting through with God. That's why God gave us each other.

I'm sorry you had bitter experiences with people. I can see how that could put you off wanting to be with them.

For me, others are the reflection of my soul. I know myself through my relationships with them. my relating with them brings up everything I need to look at in myself. I don't want to miss that growth experience, even though it's sometimes painful.
