@Andromedanian yeah my point stands though... a lot of americans are waving around slavery flags while at the same time shouting about liberty...
that makes no sense either
that makes no sense either

@Strawberrry When's the last time you personally saw a Confederate flag with your own two eyes. Lie in 3... 2.... 1

@DCarey i am not even from the usa... does that mean i am wrong ?`obsviosuly not
DCarey · 46-50, M
@Strawberrry In this case, yes. You have no idea what is going on over here, other than the jaded anti-American news you see on tv.
Strawberrry · F
@DCarey you will eben find a lot of people on this very site who will gladly defend flying those colors claiming they arent associated with a traitorous slaver nation

@Strawberrry Did you know that slavery only existed in the United States for 89 years? Many countries and empires had slavery for literally thousands of years, some STILL do. Yet people act as if the US is the only country in the history of the world that has ever had slavery. Grow up and get some perspective in life.
Strawberrry · F
@DCarey why do you change suddenly the topic ? you suddenly no longer deny that people are flying those flags proudly ? however name me some more wars that started over the topic of slavery ?
DCarey · 46-50, M
@Strawberrry Lincoln had the moral courage to end slavery by force. Name another country that got rid of the scourge by force.
Strawberrry · F
@DCarey getting rid of something by force other then by common sense doesnt make it any better...

@Strawberrry When you have the courage to fight a war to end an egregious wrong it is better. By the way, are you as outraged by present-day slavery in China, the Middle East, and Africa as you are that 89-year period in the US? Or are you just an anti-American clown?
Strawberrry · F
@DCarey i am more worried that you try to justify a shameful chapter of history by comparing it other shameful displays.
@Strawberrry the usa is a prime example of that. they use it to justifies there hate . it is a common thread of all hate groups the kkk the proud boys the oath keepers. and that is just in the usa alone. i might have missed a few more also. and its in every country and it is taught from parents who live that life style to there children. it will fade away in a few hundred years i think or at least hope so . and not soon enough for me tho. keep up the good fight . mark

@Carla The British Empire imposed slavery. The United States of America got rid of it in less than a century. By the way, are you as outraged by present-day slavery in China, the Middle East, and Africa as you are that 89-year period in the US or are you yet another anti-American clown?

@DCarey Slavery is still legal in America. Most other countries ended slavery with a simple pen stroke.
The fact that slavery is still legal in America affects every aspect of life in America in the worse way possible.
Why won't Americans end slavery in America??????

@DCarey Slavers like Washington and Jefferson started the Revolutionary War because they were fearful that England was going to end slavery in the colonies. They won and immediately made slavery part of the constitution. All of the wars America fought from 1776 to 1865 was for the sole purpose of maintaining or expanding slavery.
