I have had to wear them since I was 11 years old. I am nearsighted.
Yet for the past few years, I have had to remove them to read anything, or to use my smartphone. I can still see a computer screen clearly, though, with them on, since I am far enough away.
I have not bought reading glasses yet, though, since I can still read OK with my glasses off.
I hope they help you see better.

Your brain just feeds you the clearest view. So I read with my plain Left 👁️ and Distance beyond 2 feet or so is my Right 👁️ Eye's Job with the Contact!
Been doing it 3 Years! Opthalmologist says it's cool to do if it works for you!
Before I started this I wore 2 Contacts for Distance and used Reading 🤓 Glasses and hated it!
Since both eyes. have the same Distance Prescription, I can wear the Contact in either eye. It takes a bit if I swap during the day, but no problem if done first thing in morning. I only do that if right eye gets irritated.
