Do you have annoying people in your stores?

I've never seen this when I was younger now there are pushy sales people in grocery stores and home depot that keep asking if I want to sign up for a card. If you say No, they will keep following you around.
Now even some cashiers are doing it,
So the cashier insisted I will get 40% of my shopping if I sign up for the card she offered thats Walmart

Nobody has ever followed me around that way.

They do all ask about signing up for a card, because they have been instructed to do so.

In fact, when my daughter was in high school, she had a retail part-time job. At her first evaluation by her manager, the only thing the manager said was " You are doing very well. You've opened a lot of new accounts." Not a word about how she was selling merchandise or relating to customers.

So, I would not blame the sales people, who are just working for minimum wage and doing what they are told to do. I would blame management, who make this a policy.
@DrWatson no, these are not high school students here it's fully grown adults they try to get to open an account by being pushy

No. But there are customers that purposely pick up random items and hide them throughout the store. Cookie dough in the meat section. A bunch of parsley on a random dry goods shelf. A can of parmesan cheese balanced on one of those hook rack end caps. Etc... They mess up the stores on purpose. Like they have to spend at least an hour doing all that.
The same kind of people that would spend all day every day making multiple sw accounts.
@canusernamebemyusername That's horrible to purposely mess up the store! It's the worst when they put refrigerated item onto the normal shelves in non fridge isle
I never knew it was possible purpose though,

Haven’t seen that anywhere but Sam’s Club but they aren’t that annoying, they do it when checking out sometimes.
