It's looking too likely. Damages to US credit and reputation are probably underway already.
The government fails to tax the rich or create funding for projects people need and that we can't afford not to begin because of the climate crisis. Borrow from itself? That isn't how we talk or walk except when it comes to fifteen trillion dollar wars.
This crisis is voluntary.

@Stopmakingsense which we cannot afford when we tax to death the economy
Stopmakingsense · 61-69, F
@MasterLee taxes harm the economy? Even when there's wealth concentration like now? There is no evidence for that.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Stopmakingsense tons of evidence for it. Our economy was on fire before the plandemic.
Stopmakingsense · 61-69, F
@MasterLee wealthy people won't notice their losses. The economy doesn't benefit from austerity, it's just satisfying to sadists to think so.

@Stopmakingsense keep talking, I need to laugh more
Stopmakingsense · 61-69, F
@MasterLee Obviously. That's why democracy is off the table and for your own good experts will simply run things to protect themselves and society from you. Laugh. You should make it heard.
