If you want to cut spending, elect people who will do that. The Republicans obviously can’t be trusted, and neither can the Democrats, so I guess that means you will be voting Libertarian? Although, they’re also unacceptable because they don’t believe in border enforcement. Anyone can come here as long as no government funds go to them and they have to depend on private charity.
