If you are suffering or have problems or depression...just pray and it will go away. I woke up kind of down from everything that is going on

Not in the mood for anything I planned to do...not happy, not grateful.. Still had to say my morning prayers (from my prayer book)... All this depressing mood vanished ( and now I feel like posting crazy memes again 😆 ok, I won’t).

Jesus has the power to take depression away in one second. While with human “power” people can spend decades on 10 different medications and still feel down every day. Free will is wanting to be with God. Express free will, and you will never regret it. Because, Jesus already does His part every day. If you have food you want (you buy your favorite foods cause they taste good), you got to pic the apartment you like or buy the house you like and you are enjoying it, you go to places you enjoy, you choose the people you like, you even have a phone or computer to be here on SW cause you are enjoying someone or something here. You have your sight to see. Its all because of God’s will. He does His part every day and is willing to do more and give more. Use the free will you have the choice to choose Him, while we still have it

Yes, an omnipotent deity could choose to heal anything, including chronic clinical depression. However, there are devout believers who have prayed, and although they might feel relief, are still not cured. 🤷‍♀️ We all get sick; we all die eventually. Prayer can be very helpful spiritually, however, it isn't a guaranteed magical cure and shouldn't be promoted as such.
SW-User
@SW-User to some it is magical cure. Very few. One in a million cause only one in a million has that type of faith. Depending on strength or amount of the faith.
SW-User
@SW-User The problem with that reasoning (as opposed to believing it's god's will that they remain sick for a time) is that it places blame and confusion upon the suffering person. They're already suffering enough as it is. Accusing peeople of not having enough faith to be healed compounds the problem and drives people away from the church.
SW-User
@SW-User when I ask for cure I never get cured cause it could be a selfish prayer. I noticed that the cure automatically happens, like a miracle, when I personally try to follow Jesus’s teaching or try to do what He says to do. It only started happening when I finally let go of all the grudges I held for years cause He said to forgive and love your enemies (but I don’t look at people as enemies anymore). Cure is a side effect of faith...
SW-User
@SW-User Cures may happen through faith, and at the same time, the apostle Paul talked about a persistent "thorn in the side". Few of us can probably claim to have a faith similar to his. He died for his faith and yet he continued to be challenged by some chronic problem during the course of his life. So, god leads each person down the path of his choosing, not theirs. What works for you may not be god's plan for others.

@SW-User I am sharing my experience only, I should ve mentioned that in the beginning. But because there are religious stalkers all over it is logical that people already take it as an attempt to convert them. Everyones path is different because every soul is different and even though there is like a general “law” laid out in the Gospel to go by for our salvation , every single soul arrives at it in their personal unique way, but we all arrive at the same destination, taking baby steps. I am not talking about church. 99% of priests in my own church are now following the worldly system, higher priests are even masons and satanists (God forgive me for saying that ). And I only go to mu church till the point where the priest says I am not allowed without a vaccine passport. Most of them now are preaching vaccine not Jesus...
SW-User
@SW-User of course Gods plan is different for everyone. We can’t even eat the same foods let alone have identical spiritual experiences. Some monks and people of stronger faith ask for suffering on purpose or they willing take the suffering of other people upon themselves. But that kind of stuff is not for us, or not me definitely, I will most likely break down (minimal faith I have or sometimes none at all). Dying for faith definitely gets a soul to heaven. My plan is too, they will execute everyone who refuses the mark of the beast. But I am not sure of myself with a little faith, I hope I don’t give in
SW-User
@SW-User I left my church when it became too political. All the sermons were about who/what to vote for. It's very hard to find a good bible-based bible-teaching church that actually cares about the needs of the people, sad to say.
SW-User
If I go to church where I see a priest preaching politics...I don’t go there anymore or try to avoid him at all cost.@SW-User If I listened to all those crooked priests I would be heading to hell on express train of their teaching, not Jesus.
SW-User
@SW-User I had a dream or to me it was like a dream/vision...where I saw tens or even hundreds of priests and monks of my church falling into the lake like they were nothing. I am more careful now and do not to follow priests/ patriarch or whatever
SW-User
@SW-User Ain't that the truth. We have similar problems in the protestant church. I could tell you stories of corrupt ministers and youth leaders that would make your hair curl. 🤭
SW-User
Don’t lol@SW-User cause trust me what I am seeing right now in my church looking at the patriarch makes my hair rise up on my back 😄😄 I don’t need anymore stories
SW-User
@SW-User Good for you. If you believe the bible and trust in god/Jesus as your savior, study and follow the words of scripture and not the words of men.
SW-User
Yup@SW-User so far no regrets fir not following those men in church 👍
SW-User
@SW-User I may laugh but some of them are horror stories; and I don't feel like dredging up all that trauma right now anyway. 😄
SW-User
Ya, I am already traumatized 😄@SW-User spare me
SW-User
My brother came back from a monastery and started telling me horror stories @SW-User about the monks there. I was so shocked...we don’t do here, what they do there. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing actually. I was like “stop right there”. No more stories
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah, sadly there are all kinds of abuse in both the catholic and protestant churches. It's been going on forever, and I'm past being shocked by now.
SW-User
Oh boy@SW-User thank God I am not catholic and don’t worship the satanist number 1 in the world the Pope.
SW-User
@SW-User Well, I've heard the Pope called all kinds of names including AntiChrist. I tend to think he's just a mixed up old man. I'm thankful to have been raised protestant anyway.
SW-User
@SW-User Pope seems to be working hard in getting the world ready for the Antichrist, I doubt he is him. More like a great helper. Vatican is the place #1 of satanism in the world @SW-User look at what they have in the catholic church building in Milan that is supposed to be a prayer house for Jesus. A HORNED Mary with HORNED baby Jesus

Then one of the rooms in a “holy” Cathedral laid out in human sculls and bones , large and small, adults and CHILDREN 👶. I am afraid to begin to imagine what masses they hold there on that altar
SW-User
@SW-User
they probably have rituals here...not Godly masses
SW-User
@SW-User the head of Catholic Church is the Pope so thats worshipping a human like idol. The head of our church is Jesus Christ. I just hope we would overthrow our Patriarch who turned heretic but I don’t know why they haven’t done it.
SW-User
@SW-User Beautifully spooky pics but yes, the catacombs are creepy. I've often wondered about them myself.

In a sense, they did overthrow the Pope during the protestant reformation... Most of us don't consider catholicism to even be the same religion.
