Any benefits of hating or being revengeful?

MrGoodbar · 51-55, M
I was angry and wanted revenge on someone for a long time and I didn't see any benefits. I still have moments where I want to get revenge but I'm happier now without them in my life

Hateful does no good, killing the bastards on the other hand does serve a great amount of satisfaction. 👍😅

Yes! Cancer cells would get grow if hatred and revenge attitude continues. That's the benefit from nature.😀

just short term - and it takes soooooooo much energy
A writer once said that revenge is fuel, but it burns dirty not clean.

revenge no but acknowledging feelings of hate and expressing them is better than bottling it up or denying that you have them
Living well is the best revenge. A prime ingredient is never giving that person another thought.

You get to die early, if that’s something you consider a benefit .

No that's just a psychic drain in my opinion
it can serve as fuel--even though it burns dirty.

No, only makes you bitter and twisted.

Find peace ✌️

Not really. Those feelings only hurt the person feeling them, not its target.
