I live in Canada - our idiots were very late in obtaining vaccines... actually we had to wait until the USA had slowed on the demand curve for them before we could get sufficient inventory...HERE it is not a political statement it is basic science and we as a country are doing a great Job in getting vaccinated - we watch in HORROR what is taking place in the RED states... that political affiliation and vaccine hesitancy are so strongly correlated... and anyone can scream out a lie and people accept it without any basis or evidence to do so... The result is that a LOT of idiots are going to DIE in the USA... and totally needlessly... I am torn between being sad about this and saying that idiots deserve what they get...It is a horrible thing to observe never the less... @Picklebobble2

@pdqsailor1 Impossible position to be in if you’re a poor or disabled or single parent/carer and you do everything you can to keep yourself safe but those around you put your health and life at risk just because their ‘choices’ are irrelevant but carry a health threat to everybody else.

One wonders how you go about apologising for something like that after the event.
