I remember being hungry in the evenings in college but not having any money to buy food.
And I remember wanting to go to my home state for the holidays, but only having like 250 dollars in the bank, and trying to figure how much I'd need for gas to get there and back.
I remember when I first got my own place and kept a journal of expenses and income so as to not overspend on groceries or tools or work clothes so I could afford rent and bills.
Now I am at a point where I can spend money and not have to worry too much about it. Im not rich, not at all, but I am stable to the point where I can actually throw around a few hundred dollars here and there and it isn't a problem because I make enough money to pay all my bills, put a good bit away, put some extra on every car note to pay it off early, and then have some play money left.
