Medically i hope they nail this Alzheimer's cause and find an effective treatment.
Politically i hope the world stabilizes along more simplistic lines.
Economically i hope the world finds 'the next big thing' quickly. We seem to have had ten years of thumb twiddling with nobody knowing whether to invest in technology or manufacturing.

@Some1Else: If Trump can balance the deficit by promoting them and encouraging worldwide sales. We'll all say this was the greatest invention to hit the zeitgeist.
However if Fidget spinners are the height of human achievement before the next generation take over, i think that's you and me screwed for a pension !!
