As we say in the scientific community: there are no failures because you learn something vital from every mistake.
Life has thrown too many difficult obstacles at me for me to want to have to learn those lessons again. People bring lessons. Good, bad, or mundane. But they teach us things. And to erase that, is to give up a part of yourself. Maybe even the biggest and best part of yourself.

@MagentaMentality: about erasing the memory of someone? Me too. I think we just play with the idea because we want to run away from the pain. But there really isn't a guarantee that it wouldn't happen again if we erase those memories, like the movie very well points out.
