What were your goals as a child?

What did you want to be. What did you achieve? Did you become your Dream?

Part of me wanted to be a teacher. One who could be kind and considerate. NOT condescending.
Growing up poor, I knew that I had to find escape from this. From my first baby siting job @ 14, I took my money and opened my first savings account. I am still with the same bank. They know me and greet me by name.
My sister has been blessed in her past by marrying well, several times. Now she is broke and asking me to give her money.
The woman cannot be in a house longer than a year before it goes up for sale. Has to have a new Car every year. And is on me telling me I need to give her money to take her adult alcoholic son on a Cruise because he's depressed..
She's also upset because Daddy and Mama left ME their house. I was the one coming over to bring groceries. I was the one that came over to Mow the yard so Dad wouldn't have another heart attack.
My sister grew up poor the same as I. But she didn't learn a thing from this.

I was an incoherent child without any goals other than getting a big motorcycle (which I did). But I think if the young man I was could see the old guy I've become, he'd think things had worked out all right.

To be a nutritionist ever since I was 9 😊 I'm not one now but I'm still very interested. Maybe someday
To be an astronaut. I guess being a cubicle drone is close enough

To get ice cream and candy.
I never really had goals.
