What do I wish for? Nothing really, I already have everything that I need. I have 4 seasons to live in and 4 sets of clothes in my closet to accommodate each season, I even have different tires for my car to accommodate winter after summer is over.
Without 4 seasons, I've discovered that life can become nothing more than a continuum of sameness... more of the same, same, same with no difference between one day and the next, one year and the next. Before you know it, some old friends are gone and you weren't even aware of the passage of time that took them there.
Once specific thing about living a life within a 4 season environment, is the awareness of the beginning of a new growth cycle which of course begins in the springtime of a 4 season environment. Then at the end of the 4th season, everything goes into dormancy but doesn't necessary die off. Every piece of perennial vegetation goes to sleep for about 3 months and then wakes up and starts to reproduce itself all over again in the form of blossoms and seed cones.
I've lived in Caribbean islands for extended periods of time and the one thing that keeps bringing me back to Canada several times each year, is what each season offers to those who show up and participate. 🇨🇦
