@JustGoneNow Really? My three- level geodesic is outside Hill City close to where Black Elk had his vision. I loved living there.

The house is suspended over a creek and with the skylights open it sounds like the water is running through the loft.

It's so great to share this in common.

@Grateful4you yup. I’ve been skiing at Terry’s Peak too. And I have Lakota friends that have family at Pine Ridge.

@Grateful4you I know that whole area very well.

@JustGoneNow I know the res. at Pine Ridge, Brule, Lower Brule, Rosebud, etc. My ex. was a social worker for the Lakota people.

@JustGoneNow I did, it's been decades though. I miss the area so much. If you ever are in Hill City, make a right off the highway (Reno Gultch) My house is to the left about a half mile up.

@Grateful4you my friends were very into AIM. The mostly didn’t like white people but they were okay with me. They even had relation that were involved at the revolt at Wounded Knee.

@JustGoneNow Most native people don't trust white people for good reason. They trusted Mike but even that trust had to be earned. I'm trying to remember the leader at wounded Knee it escapes me right now.

@Grateful4you They mostly liked me I think because I’m first generation born American. I’m Scandinavian on my Da’s side and Gael Irish on my Mum’s, so they knew I and my family had nothing to do with the theft of their land. There’s also some similarities between Viking culture and Gael Irish culture and theirs. They always had lots of questions for me but sometimes I didn’t really know and had to ask my parents or grandparents. I actually owe a lot of my knowledge about my culture now to them because it pushed me to ask questions I hadn’t even thought of.
