I keep a list of daily goals (mainly at work but also stuff like "buy trash bags") and then a list of longer term goals. I constantly check my productivity.
If I happen to notice at the end of a day or week that I've only done 50% of what I think was reasonable to accomplish then I ask myself why and make corrections.
I'm ocd tho so don't follow me.
