How would you describe a home that you hoped to own from when you were a child?

My grandma had a painting of an old English thatched cottage and I still want a house like that

I never thought about that. I like the one I'm in now though.its cozy

I had no idea, I would hear my sister a year older when she was about 13 saying what kind of home she wanted, she also wanted an in-ground swimming pool but didn’t get one.

I imagined a tree house in a big tree. You could hardly see it from below. And from the tree house you could see the whole city. It had enough rooms for each of us, with a kitchen and a bathroom, but most of all with lots of climbing possibilities and swings.

All I ever wanted was to be happy. Family was that for me. As I grew older and saw fancy homes I thought wow I want a house just like that but I don’t want to have to seek drugs like the owner of that house did.

Victorian, But deep in the city.

I watch way too many monster movies to live in something like this out in the suburbs

I think when I was a child the home I always hoped for,wasn't a matter of material possession... it was always finding my soul mate, and having a happy life and growing together.

I didn’t think about it as a child. I was middle aged before I got my dream home. I don’t have it anymore, but it’s a place I felt truly at home in spirit and soul.

Big butt mansion worth HELLA PHAT STACKS!!.............. But eh, ending up with a falling apart council apartment is kinda the same not really.. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ•ʔ🤙

I never thought about it when I was young....but I now own a home that I like.

I still haven't found but I am looking one glass house by the beach.
