how would you have like to have been raised?

looking back at how you were raised, how would you have like to have been raised?
I feel really strongly about parenting becasue i am trying to change my views of things that were encouraged when i was a kid and my bad personality traits like lack of motivation. I wish i was raised more like Asian kids, I need more strict parenting. my mom was very laid back and was the head of the household, enough my dad was stricker he would not be strict around my mom because he did not (in my opinion) want to look like the mean parent in front of my mom. I also wish my parents focused more on teaching me math and not just leaving me with the workbook. they just claimed i am not a math person. there are just too many Iatrogenic lables, lables that make things seem worse then they are, and it made me think i was wrong and it was worse than it seems.
