What do you think?

So I was thinking, why don't we set wages based upon the profits of a business? Like the more money a business earns for the fiscal year, the higher the wages of the workers? Wouldn't this encourage workers to give their best and hang on to a job? It would also mean more fair wages for the amount of work done and somewhat close the separation of wealth between the upper class and lower class. What do you guys think?

@MarineBob Of course. If a company loses profits, the workers are partially responsible for that and should suffer a decrease in wages. I think that's necessary for continued encouragement to give their best.

@Madhatter the past 30 day my business posted a big loss because of the shutdown so they would have suffered to

@MarineBob Hmm, I see your point. Still, taking a loss like that would still bring company solidarity, I think. And hopefully motivate people to be less tolerable of pointless government shutdowns and other childish shenanigans.
