They can't and they won't. My guess would be, if actual gold is involved at all, it's very very very thin gilding on the item. Gold, even 14 kt gold, is priced at over $1100 an ounce.

If you buy from them, buy for sentimental reasons, not for investment, and be aware you are NOT receiving an oz of pure gold.

@Mamapolo2016 The description says one oz of solid gold. it's 97% off
Why? @saintsong

@Mamapolo2016 The website generates money for charities.
Okay. There is gold in a mine somewhere and sonebody digs it out and sells it. It is refined and turned into 'art.'

When the market price is $1200 retail, THEY sell it for $27 to raise money for charities. Why don't they sell it for $1200 and make 60 times the money for charities? @saintsong

@Mamapolo2016Yeah I haven't got a clue the rest of the stuff on the website is Junk! But the bar of gold that my son bought a month ago says 9999 one troy ounce plus it is as beautiful as his royal mint gold coins
You are assuming that's true. This is the internet, where anybody can tell you anything from anywhere and not be challenged by the law.@saintsong

@Mamapolo2016 perhaps it's gold plaited lead it still looks beautiful and still says 9999 one troy oz on the gold bar and is discounted over a thousand dollars
I'm glad you're happy with it. Please don't drain your savings to buy more. Enjoy!@saintsong

I'm with @Mamapolo2016... If it sounds too good to be true - then it usually is... and this sounds too good to be true to me.
