You’ve been given a bonus room. Caveat: it is not a bathroom, kitchen or any needful thing...

Well, if it's my imagination room I'd want it to be something like the Room of Requirement in the Harry Potter books - where whenever I opened the door, the room would be exactly what I needed at the time: Either a reading nook with comfy chaise and tea already made the way I like it, or a beach with lapping waves and warm sun that turns to sunset and night with stars as I linger, or a path in the woods I could meander in for a while then stop and sit and listen and contemplate, or a dance club with good music and drinks where I could dance, laugh and have fun, or a spa room with a massage therapist, or a wine tasting room, or ... So many possibilities!

We will start with the soundproofing. And chains on the walls

An indoor pool, complete with pool man. :)

An imagination room. A vast room with windows from ceiking to floor. Spaces for large canvases for me to paint at my leisure. A large hammock so I may lay and contemplate life or watch the clouds through the glass ceiling. Shelves with all the books I choose to fill them. And some of those darling wood ladders that move horizontally along the shelves. No clocks or calendars. No need for them. A king bed with the softest linens and a billion pillows of all sizes. Fresh bright colours. An awesome stereo system. A large wood table carved from a rare wood. Angels and woodland creatures hand carved on it and all manner of imagined creatures from mythology. A glass fridge with all the bells and whistles that is stocked according to my whims. Just a bit of a room of imagination. Oh. And one wall with scenery that changes according to my mood.

It is a Christmas room, where the Christmas decorations will stay up all year round. The tree will be covered with a very attractive dust cover (actually, a changing selection of them) during the non-Christmas times of the year.

An acoustically tuned room for my stereo system and storing my LP collection.

Wine cellar for obvious purposes ;)
