What’s your dream car?

Mine is a Jeep. As simplistic as it sounds I’ve always wanted one.

@1GHOST The knock down STR version made 600hp+ /455 cid and was 300-500 pounds lighter😈

Here's some info from the Nov/Dec 2003 Pontiac Enthusiast. This was compiled by John Sawruk a noted engineer and Pontiac authority. These are just 0-60 times. Remember also these are all bone stock times, right down to the skinny old bias ply tires and their terrible traction. They list the top 11 I'll stick to the top 5

4. Tie 70 455 4bbl auto/ 71 455 4bbl (non HO) auto 7.3 sec
3. 72 455 4bbl (non HO) w/Ram Air auto 7.0 sec
2. 69 400 4bbl RAIII 6.7 sec.
1. 71 455 HO 6.4 sec.

Don't do it, they have all kinds of engine problems, cost a lot for repairs and I used to work for an auto parts store where we hated to see people come in for jeep parts because they had a multiple change in parts in one model year. Even using the VIN number sometimes did not help in getting the correct part for a Jeep. They often used engines, transmissions, electrical components from other brands of cars. They are a mess and get terrible gas mileage. My wife had one when we first got married and we took it for a 300 mile trip, by the time we got there we felt like we had been rolled down a hill full of boulders and it was a battle to get over 60mph on the interstate because we had a 30mph head wind. They are junk!

Jeeps are ridiculously expensive for how simple they are.
