Did you ever figure out what you wanted your career to be?

Did you actually stick with it ?

No, I had no idea, lived in a tiny farming town (population 100 - counting the dogs :)), had no money for college, and was, until I came upon the idea of joining the military, drifting in a bad direction. Joined the Army, started in on getting a degree at night, and for 20 years I had the most amazing life. Yes, there were the bad times (war sucks), but other than that, I got paid to learn, get a degree, travel the world, and see and learn things I'd never dreamed of. After that I was lost again for a moment, but found another career I enjoyed, and went with that until I retired. Sometimes it takes a bit of going with the flow, or it did for me, and it all worked out well.
@frequentlyme 😊 neat thanks for that insight.
