How long since you wished on a star?

No, it may not help but your clarity sometimes is more clear.
When I was a child, I would seek out the brightest star. I would close my eyes and imagine how my wish might unfold. The curtains didn't open, and I was back the next night with the same wish.
It was simply a dream. A hope that one day my fairy tale might come true. *** I don't give up easily. My dreams as well as my writings will continue.
For the moment, my writings lay alone on a shelf in my brain.
The abused kidnaped child will simply have to wait.

I stopped wishing on a star many years ago. Unsure to what it is I want. Unable to capture and hold onto my wishes and dreams that never seem to stay in place.
Though Carla has NEVER felt 'suicidal' I wonder how it might be to at the very least,...feel nothing. That in feeling nothing is at least something.
