Why is it so hard for special needs parents to understand that there child wants to have a life outside of them?

@SimplyTracie true but it makes it difficult when you want to grow up and they always see what you can't do. I have a wonderful boyfriend that I love so much. But it's hard to have my mom see what I see. She is like your going to need me to still do all of this for you

@SimplyTracie thanks for understanding and yes I am talking about myself and any other special needs person who are going through the same things I am when it comes to our feature. Are parents won't be around forever.
