Why do some celebrities liek Kevin Spacey have their careers in shambles while others who almost killed someone like Kanye West are doing fine ?

The double-standard and sexually repressed powers that be in the US. Violence and death are way more publicly acceptable that anything having to do with sex. Just look at what is on local news and in popular movies, video games, etc.
