When did you buy it?

@MysterySci My husband bought it for me almost 20 years ago - shows my age ;-) The images move incredibly fast through the eyepiece of a telescope (if you adjust manually). What you see cannot be compared to images taken from space craft (Hubble)...but they are awe inspiring nonetheless. With mine I can see Saturns rings, some of Jupiters moons.

[@Mystery The images are small and interestingly enough, sort of black and white (and upside down) - but it is still amazing to look into space. My interest started after I bought a book on the constellations..I have never looked at the sky in the same way. Today you get apps that can show you constellations... amazing how lucky we are - so with today's technology there are many ways to explore space for us "normal" people. I was up last night looking for the meteor shower :-( missed it. Yes my husband understands me well. Best wishes for your star gazing - may you enjoy it!
