Do you think there are a lot of people who avoid "nerdy things" because they're "nerdy"?

I wonder how many people are seriously missing out on not learning anything about relativity and quantum physics just because it sounds tricky and nerdy.

Particularly because math is one of the few things people are almost encouraged to take pride in being bad at.

@Xuan12 The worst is, math isn't even that difficult! There's a logic behind literally everything in it, and once you figure that shit out, you're set!

And people are still acting like the answers change depending on the moon phases or something

@NorthernRoses I used to think I was bad at math. But in my courses I was always amongst math and physics majors. I didn't realize how poorly most other people do at math until later. It was a bit shocking. I'm out of practice now, but still occasionally find myself modeling equations to quantify things just because I'm curious or because it's handy.
