@Innocentpigeon correction? They are highly abused and often kicked out and homeless too. Support them 100%

@Innocentpigeon transgender has the highest suicide rate, hardest continuation of employment and place to live as an example. But yes, there is a youth center in LA, California that takes in the LGBTQ after they've been kicked out and discarded by their families. :(

Well, at least they have that. In my country, they kill LGBT people if they don't conform.

You misunderstand, I'm straight. But I do find the treatment of the people here unjust in some ways.

@Innocentpigeon how can you help to fix it or bring more awareness?

I honestly couldn't care less, but that's just me. I have nothing to gain from helping that community and too much to lose. This is a harsh country with different understandings of mercy and compassion. Life here is a hell for some but heaven for others, the difference between those is intellect and will power.

I have a trans friend and he know's not to step out of my house without proper attire when he visits. He even bought an abaya just to feel comfortable in his own skin! Still, he visits when he can, because we do have our advantages! For instance, entrepreneurship is thriving, people here buy whatever you're selling if it's expensive enough, no matter what it is. Plenty of other things, if you'd like to know more, you can ask.
