Is there a cause that is nearet and or dearest to you?

Aside from kids/family, is there anything you actively, passionately support/participate in which makes a difference in others lives, for community, environment or society or the world as whole.

In my younger days, I helped run a youth roller hockey league in a group of neighborhoods in my city. We had four divisions across ages 6-17, and at our peak, we registered 365 youth. I did this for about three years until it came time to settle down.
