How to fix an extension cord end

Learned to do this in junior high. My inlaws made lamps.

Must emphasize about testing as well as picking the right sockets. Not all sockets are so nice with the colors. Some don't even use brass color for hot.

Please be careful with nicked wires and stray strands. It's better to do this with someone experienced a few times before trying it yourself. The electrocution or fire you may prevent is yours.
