I take a different attitude, yet it amounts to the same thing. These economist and corporations have no concerns about common people.
It's all about profits for them. The economy is based on the wealthy. That is who these economist are talking to when referring to product obsolescence.
Who owns the property that renters are put out of? 🤷🏻♂
The owners themselves send such new equipment to the dump. Not caring if they damage it or not.
A refrigerator is supposed to be transported upright. Even if it's not working. Do they care? NO! Will they remove the CFCs before transporting? NO! That costs the owners money. Does the government enforce their own laws? NO! That costs money as well.
Product obsolescence has nothing to do with the economy. It actually will cost more to the wealthy, only to have anything last a lifetime.
