Well Mission Accomplished, Although I've not had to work so much in years.
So my day has kinda been ass, Last night, on Account of the fact that earlier in the month we Paid Tuff Shed and Home Depot for Some work installing a Shed in our back yard simply because the old one wasn't water proofed and some of our stuff got Waterlogged because of it so we had it torn down and Finally a new one built for about 8000 dollars. I've been paying for a Storage unit for the Inventory for my Store for the better part of 2 years ... you can find where I am currently at https://www.ebay.com/usr/daerosinaworl-92
Not trying to spam or anything just post a status update on my life. Anyway, Was no fun. the Temperature today has been basically 87 and above F which is 30.55556 for those of under Celsius. Which has been no fun.
But owing to the reality of it having been built around August 12th, and my Storage unit the plan was always to empty the Storage unit into the new Shed and bring my stuff closer to home to not only simplify operations but have a better grip on what Inventory I even had on hand.
To that end, I can already see I'm going to have to add a lot more on account of the fact that the 3rd Quarter is just around the corner which means people will be Christmas shopping soon.
But it's the 31st and billing day for the Storage unit is the 1st, and I'd only taken ONE Trip's worth of stuff Home by today, Largely owing to having brought it up a few times to mom essentially dropping a hint that I needed to borrow the car, only to get brushed off with suggestions that I appeal to a Family friend since she has a Truck and it will make things easier.
Of course to do actually do that I'd have to figure out where I left both my phones and yeah I never got around to that.
So last night I had to mention we were going to have to Cram today as it was the last possible day to clear out the storage unit and close the account.
Meaning I was rudely awoken at 2PM to go do it, used the Facilities and then got a Drink and was out the door by 2:20, I was working all day in nearly 90 degree weather with sporadic A/C during the Car Trips back and forth.
We only have a Small Toyota Camry Hybrid, we love it but, it makes operations like this more challenging, It took me 8 or 9 Trips filling the car emptying the inventory into the shed and going back for more. I came home Exhausted around 4:00 and took a Small break, took a shower put on some Deodorant and begged for food, but We've been testing Positive for COVID with the Test Strips so Everyone is isolating meaning they're kinda forcing me to stay home to eat.
After that by 4:40 I was back out the door for the last two Trips which I got and then got home around 5:10 only to be asked if I'd notified the front office I didn't intend to rent anymore in September, which meant I had to go BACK out at 5:30 take the lock off the door and the key and notify the guy in front that I no longer needed his services and wished him luck on renting the unit to the next customer.
So I've put in about 3 hours of labor most of it in the hot sun without you know any respite and periods of cooling off between. Most of the Labor had to take place outside.
Very Stressful, Hungry, and all the Navigating of gigantic boxes around the whole Obstacle course of obstructions into the backyard.
Worse is that I don't usually have to do this kind of thing So I'm not really in shape for it.
But I worked my ass off for about 3 hours, busting Ass for my store. now everything is going to be easier but holy shit that was draining and awful.
At least it's over and all downhill from here though.
