๐Ÿž Major Bugs Fixed ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘† Double-Tap to Deselect ๐Ÿ”„ Similar Match

โ— Several Major Bugs should now be fixed, in the Similar Match game. ๐Ÿž
The fixes should hopefully resolve most of the recently reported bugs by users, as well as other uncommon bugs.

โ— When the two Swap Selectors are visible, while waiting for matches to complete, โญ• โญ•
you can now ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿ‘† "Double-Tap to Deselect" your pending Swap Selection.

This can come in very handy in many cases, especially when you've made a wrong selection, and want it to be undone, before a swap is attempted.

Please do test out the Similar Match game, and let us know if the recently experienced bugs seem to be resolved (or at the least, a lot less frequent).

Thanks,

Certainly improved, but also not completely fixed. @Andrew

Played aggressively
Two empty holes
And the top left fire isn't disappearing

Thanks for that feedback, and the screenshot.

We'll have to keep an eye out for this issue, then.

Did both of these events happen at the same time?

Or did the Holes appear first, for example, and you were still able to swap around,

but then afterwards, swapping the x 3 Fire in a Row (unless they dropped there) remained stuck in place?

@Andrew none of the events happen at the same time. The right hole, then left hole, then top fire.

The holes were there when I swapped pre-move, but then it automatically took some pieces away and the three in a row I wanted were no longer there. But it still moved one piece, but kept the other piece in the same spot.

Above the left hole, look above it, I think you can see the yellow lightning behind orange piece. Same thing happened with the right hole, but I think the blue ice piece to the right of it blocks whatever piece is behind it.

I could still continue to play, but couldn't do anything with those holes.

I think the three fire might have dropped into place, and did not disappear.

Thanks much for explaining in detail.

We'll see if we can manage to replicate and narrow down the cause of these issues, over the coming days.

@Andrew I was about to post about this as well, and what I can recall is that while two pieces vertically were selected, several new ones above the selected ones together with the selected ones got matched automatically and fell down underneath the selection circles, and the matching circles stayed there. As soon as the selection circles had no automatic matches going on anymore, the lower matching circle remained empty as seen in the screenshot (I have one of my own as well btw).
