What makes SW better than EP?

I like the voice and gif capabilities of sw, but EP just had the benefit of existing before radicalization had spread so far. There was a very noticeable shift in the atmosphere here and people became unrecognizable. Even if the years hadn’t changed me, no social media is as enjoyable as it once could manage to be. That’s my experience, but I know some didn’t have as nice a time on EP either. 🤷‍♀️

Trying not to drown in too much positive nostalgia, but back on EP, people treated each other more respectfully even if their opinion differed. I think overall EP was more open minded (which changed though towards the shutdown - probably related). For my personal experience, I never had as good conversations here as I had there.

So, no idea about what makes this place better 😀

SW is not closed. EP is fine for nostalgia, and it’s where I initially met some of the friends I have here, but there were things we complained about then, too.
