I Hate Competition

Competition. I have to say I find it rather unnecessary and unpleasant to take part in. Sure it can have a distinct purpose but more often than not it brings out the worst in people; the greed, selfishness, desperation etc. Competition feeds off of those things. I think we as a society are much too obsessed with competition, when in fact we should be more obsessed with co-operation.

I understand ambition and motivation but competition really does a lot of harm by driving wedges between people and highlighting differences ,when we should really be examining and thankful for the things we have in common with each other.
